Ferries to Mudeford Sandbanks run every 15 minutes from Easter to late October. Adult one way fare is £2 or £1 for children. Check the website www.mudefordferry.co.uk for up-to-date information.
Fresh fish can be bought from The Fish Stall http://mudefordfishstall.co.uk/ where you can also choose live crab and lobsters from the shop’s tanks. Mackerel fishing trips and speed boat cruises operate from the Quay and crabbing is always a popular activity along the seafront promenade (kids should be closely supervised due to strong currents).
There is a large car park, toilets, a public slipway, and lifeboat station and a cluster of historic buildings thought to date from 1695 (Haven Cottages) and 1830 (The Haven House Inn). The Haven House Inn (pub) has a café and gift shop
