Alum Chine Beach (Bournemouth)

Alum Chine Beach is located just over a mile west of Bournemouth Pier. It takes about 20 minutes to walk there along the seafront promenade. Alternatively a Land Train regularly runs along the prom during the summer months and school holidays.

Alum Chine Beach is one of the best in the Bournemouth region and my personal favourite. Its wide sandy beach is clean and wide and the water safe and shallow. A pirate-themed adventure playground makes it popular with families with young children.
