Mudeford Quay Visitor Guide and car park charges

Mudeford Quay is situated at the entrance to Christchurch harbour, it’s is the departure point for ferries to Mudeford Sandbank

Ferries to Mudeford Sandbanks run every 15 minutes from Easter to late October. Adult one-way fare is £2.50 or £1 for children. Check the website www.mudefordferry.co.uk for up-to-date information.

Fresh fish can be bought from The Fish Stall http://mudefordfishstall.co.uk/ where you can also choose live crab and lobsters from the shop’s tanks. Mackerel fishing trips and speed boat cruises operate from the Quay and crabbing is always a popular activity along the seafront promenade (kids should be closely supervised due to strong currents).

There is a large car park, toilets, a public slipway, and lifeboat station and a cluster of historic buildings thought to date from 1695 (Haven Cottages) and 1830 (The Haven House Inn). The Haven House Inn (pub) has a café and gift shop

Mudeford Quay is a popular sailing and windsurfing destination.
