Bournemouth Land Train

Bournemouth Land Train operate two routes running along Bournemouth seafront. One route runs from just west of Bournemouth Pier and travels along the promenade as far as Alum Chine stopping at Durley Chine and Middle Chine. This train then returns via the same route.

The other train goes in the opposite direction and departs to the east of Bournemouth Pier and travels along the seafront to Boscombe Pier before returning.

The land train service is made up of a brightly coloured fleet of five trains. Trains run April to October 10am till 5pm, during school holidays and at the weekends during winter subject to weather conditions.

Bournemouth Pier to Boscombe Pier trains stop at:

  • Bournemouth Pier (east)
  • East Cliff Lift (request stop inform driver in advance)
  • Toft Zigzag (request stop drop off only)
  • Boscombe Pier (west)
