Badger Beers (Hall & Woodhouse)
Location: Blandford Forum

Taproom: Yes there’s a Brewery Tap pub & restaurant on site but reservations need to be made in advance. Brewery Shop also on the premises.
Description: Hall & Woodhouse trade as Badger Ales. They are the largest brewery in Dorset. They were founded in 1777 in the village of Ansty and moved to Blandford in 1900. They are an independent family brewery.

Taproom: No but there is a shop next-door to the brewery, Palmers Wine Store.
Description: Brewing at the original Old Brewery in Bridport since 1794
Beers: Copper (Dorset Pale Ale 3.7%), IPA (India Pale Ale 4.2%), Dorset Gold (Golden Ale 4.5%), 200 (Premium Ale 5%), TallyHo! (Dark Strong Ale 5.5%), Dorset Pale (4%)
The Dorset Brewing Company (aka DBC)
Tours: Yes, weekly
Description: Family brewery, founded in 1995, relocated to Crossways in Dorchester in 2011 with upgraded spring water-fed brewhouse. The Jurassic Brewhouse has an onsite taproom where you can enjoy a pint or take a crate home.
Beers: Dorset Knob (3.9%), Tom Browns (Traditional Bitter 4%), Chesil (Pilsner style 4.1%), Jurassic (4.2%), Yachtsman (Pale Golden Ale 4.7%), Durdle Door (Classic Premium Ale 5%), Jurassic Dark (Wheat beer 5.9%)
Tours: Yes but group bookings only
Beers: Dorset Rogue (Best Bitter 3.9%), Piddle (Premium Ale 4.1%), Cocky (Golden Hoppy Beer 4.3%), Bent Copper (Malty Rich Copper ESB 4.8%), Slasher (Strong Blonde Beer)
Lyme Regis Brewery
Location: Lyme Regis
Description: Founded in 2010 as The Town Mill Brewery in the town centre, moved to larger premises just outside Lyme Regis. Rebranded as Lyme Regis Breweries in 2014. Saved from closure by a change of ownership in 2018 when 4 friends took over the running of the brewery. A new vision and a good range of beers. You can sample the beers before buying at The Tap Room which is still at The Town Mill in Lyme Regis DT7 3PU.
Beers: Cobb (Session Bitter 3.9%), Lyme Gold (Golden Ale 4.2%), Dorset Pearl (English Pale Ale 4.3%), Town Mill Best (Best Bitter 4.5%), Black Ven (London Porter 5%), Revenge (Strong IPA 5.3%), Golden Cap (Craft Lager 5.4%)
Eight Arch Brewing Company
Address: Unit 3, Stone Lane Industrial Estate, Wimborne BH21 1HB
Taproom: Yes Fridays 4-8pm
Description: The company is named after the eight arches of a local Wimborne bridge. Their taproom is a pop-up bar in the brewery open only on Friday evenings 4-8pm.
Beers: Session (Session IPA 3.8%), Square Logic (Pale Ale 4.2%), Little Dragon (Kolsch Style Ale 4.5%), Easy Life (Pale Ale 5%), Corbel (IPA 5.5%) plus quite a few specials
Cerne Abbas Brewery
Location: Cerne Abbas
Description: Founded in 2014 in the belief that beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. Using organic barley grown in the Cerne Valley. The green-sand geology of the area makes the water supply ideal for beer making. Visit their website for a list of pubs and stores offering their beer.

Location: Holwell, just outside Cranborne
Address: Holwell Farm, Cranborne, BH21 5QP
Description: Founded in 2009 by Scott Wayland. Brewery was established in an old dairy building on a farm in Sixpenny Handley. The brewery was moved to bigger premises near Cranborne village in 2016. The restored Victorian barn and stable accommodates the cosy Sixpenny Tap where you can sample the beers and caters for takeaway sales.
Beers: Regular beers: Sixpenny Best (Session Ale 3.8%), Sixpenny Gold (Golden Ale 4%), Sixpenny IPA (IPA 5.2%). Seasonal beers: Rushmore Gold (Summer Golden Ale 3.9%), Cranborne Chaser (Spring Copper Ale 3.9%), Sixpenny Black (Autumn Winter Porter 4.4%), Sixpenny Special (Occasional Strong Best Bitter 5%)
Isle of Purbeck Brewery
Location: Studland (Bankes Arms Inn)
Address: The Isle of Purbeck Brewery, Bankes Arms, Manor Road, Studland, BH19 3AU
Taproom: The brewery is next door to the Bankes Arms Pub where you can sample the full range of beers.
Description: Established in 2003 by husband and wife team Jack & Pippa Lightbrown to run the Bankes Arms pub in Studland. The pub beer garden has superb sea views and is the recommended location to sample these beers on a late summer afternoon.
